Welcome to Beth Meyer Synagogue!  We are delighted that you are considering our congregation.  For many years we have come together to worship, study, celebrate, and support one another.  We hope you find membership an enriching experience, and encourage you to explore the diverse opportunities for Jewish expression that we offer.  Please call upon our rabbi, staff, and lay leaders whenever we can assist you in becoming part of the Beth Meyer community.

 

Membership Packets

Stay Connected

The HaMaggid, our synagogue bulletin, is the most important source of synagogue information. The HaMaggid is published monthly and sent to all congregants. All prospective members receive a complimentary HaMaggid with their information packet. If you are not a congregant and would like to be placed on the Ha-Maggid mailing list, please call the synagogue office at 919-848-1420 during office hours. A donation of $18 is requested for a year subscription.

 

Dues Information

We have several classes for membership dues payments. Families with a spouse 31 years old and older pay full dues. Singles and young families pay reduced dues. Beth Meyer requires as a condition of membership that a minimum building pledge be made. (It can be paid over ten installments.) Those with special financial circumstances may request reduced memberships. No one will be denied membership because of an inability to pay dues. All such arrangements are handled confidentially.
